Where: Timonium Farigrounds - 2200 York Road, Timonium, MD 21093
When: Saturday, October 15, 2005 - Noon - 8:00pm and Sunday, October 16, 2005 - Noon - 6:00pm
Cost: $20 at the door which includes entertainment, exhibits, 6 beer tokens, and a souvenir mug.
Alright all you Maryland beer enthusiasts. It's time for the Maryland Oktoberfest at the Timonium Fairgrounds. Featuring music, crafts, activities and 60 types of beer.
Show your spirit. You will get three free beer tokens if you come in German attire. There are also contests for Miss Oktoberfest and Best Baltimore Beer Belly.

This thing was a disaster. $20 admission for two six ounce beers and you had to wait in line longer that it took to drink a 6 ounce beer.
It was promoted to last until 8:00pm. we got there around 5:00 and the beer started running out at 6:00.
I'll never go again.
What a POORLY run disaster this was! Promoted to 8pm, but all the breweries were out of beer by 6:30pm.
The lines for beer and food were outrageous! Easily 10 minute waits for each.
I'm sure the cheap a$% marketing company that ran this disaster made a TON on money on all the unused beer tokens.
It's obivious all they did was keep selling tickets without regard to how many people were there so they could pocket as much cash as possible.
Boo! BOO on you for making what has been a fun event into a joke!
Count me out in the future.
